Alon Kaplun is a New York-based photographer who extracts unique perspectives from his urban surroundings and natural landscapes. 

Growing up in Israel he was given his first Kodak Instamatic camera at the age of 5 and began exploring the streets of Tel Aviv. Throughout the years he expanded his photographic tools and his visual exploration, documenting the bustling streets of New York and London, and the diverse countryside of Europe and America.

Alon participated in several photography projects at the International Center of Photography (ICP), New York. His photographs were selected to appear in various photography blogs, such as the Israeli newspaper Haaretz’s Hasifa (Exposure).  His first solo exhibit, “Portraits of Determination,” was presented in New York in 2022.
